Los ex-DEICIDE, Eric Hoffman (guitarra) y Brian Hoffman (guitarra) han resucitado su banda AMON, junto a Jesse "Jecheal" Jolly en voz y bajo, y Mike Petrak en batería.

El nuevo trabajo se titula "Liar In Wait". Consistirá de 9 canciones y estará disponible a principios del 2011 por medio del propio sello de AMON.

Para el próximo 29 de Marzo será lanzado a través de Metal Blade Records, el nuevo registro e Amon Amarth  titulado Surtur Rising. 

Este fué titulado en homenaje al lider de los gigantes de fuego de la mitología nórdica Surtur

El 07 de Marzo está estimada la salida del nuevo álbum de BURZUM, distribuído por Byelobog Productions a través de Plastic Head, la cover artwork pertenece a una obra de 1899 del pintor francés Adolphe-William Bouguereau.

SINISTER,informa que la discográfica polaca Metal Mind pondrá a la venta una box de la banda que tendrá por título "Altered Sins Birth", en el que se incluirán nuevos CDS, el DVD en directo "Prophecies Denied", y un libro a todo color en que se cuenta la historia de la banda lleno de fotos. El 14 de Febrero se pondrá a la venta en Polonia, el 21 del mismo mes en el Reino Unido, y en los Estados Unidos, saldrá en Abril.
