SLAYER - Noticias

Entre el 25 y 27 de Mayo del 2012, Slayer se presentara en el festival ‘I’ll Be Your Mirror’, organizado por All Tomorrow’s Party.  Ahí tocarán íntegramente según mi parecer el mejor trabajo ‘Reign In Blood’.

Además según un posteo en el Facebook del baterista Dave Lombardo, La banda se encuentra en la actualidad trabajando para un nuevo álbum de estudio. Mientras tanto, el guitarrista Jeff Hanneman, que en enero sufrió fascitis necrotizante producto de la mordida de una araña, se ha sometido a operaciones, curaciones de piel y rehabilitación. Dave tuvo palabras para su compañero, “Jeff aun se está recuperando y esta cada día mejor”.

Por otro lado, Araya señaló a Billboard.com, que Slayer no ingresara al estudio hasta que Hanneman se recupere totalmente.

“De ninguna manera volveremos al estudio sin él”, dijo Araya. “Como banda no haremos algo sin él. Es parte integral de Slayer. Requerimos de sus aptitudes compositivas y musicales. Así que esperaremos hasta que esté en un cien por ciento para que se nos una y forme parte de este proceso”.
